Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Pixel Orbit (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it. We collect as little as possible to run a pixel canvas and take payments.

What we collect

Your account email: used to sign you in (a one-time link, no password) and to enforce the one-free-tile-per-account limit. We don’t use it for marketing.
Tile content you create: your logo, and the display name, link, and description you attach. These are public by design once approved.
Payment information: for paid tiles only, collected and processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and limited details (such as your email for receipts and a payment identifier); we never receive or store your full card number.
Basic usage analytics: aggregate, privacy-friendly metrics (page views and a few events like starting a purchase) via Vercel Analytics. These do not use tracking cookies and are not used to build a profile of you.
Technical data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address and request metadata) kept transiently for security and reliability.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use a small amount of browser local storage for functional purposes only, for example, to remember that you’ve seen the welcome message, and a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in.

How we use it

To display the canvas, process your purchase and send receipts, review content for policy compliance, respond to support requests, and keep the Site secure and working. We do not sell your personal data.

Who processes your data

Stripe: payment processing.
Supabase: database hosting for purchases and tile content, and account authentication (magic-link sign-in).
Vercel: application hosting and aggregate analytics.

Each processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments. Our database is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).

Retention

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to operate the Site and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Public tile content remains until the tile is removed or the Site is discontinued.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise them, email support@launchorbit.co. Note that content you chose to make public (your tile, name, and link) is visible to everyone until removed.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
