These Terms govern your use of The Pixel Orbit at launchorbit.co (the “Site”), operated by the Site’s owner (“we”, “us”). By buying pixels or otherwise using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site.

1. What you’re buying

The Pixel Orbit is a single shared canvas where accounts publish products. Every account may claim one free rectangular tile at the smallest size; a larger tile requires payment. Either way, you receive the right to display content in that region for as long as the Site operates, subject to these Terms. You are not buying the pixels themselves, any intellectual property in the Site, real estate, a security, or any financial instrument. Positions on the canvas are determined solely by the amount paid (zero for the free tier), are not guaranteed, and change over time (see “The orbit changes”).

2. Accounts

Publishing a tile requires signing in with your email (no password — we email you a one-time link). You are responsible for keeping access to that email address. Each account may claim the free tile once, ever; creating multiple accounts to claim it again is not permitted and any extra free tiles may be removed.

3. Price and payment

Paid tiles are priced as width × height × the per-pixel rate, subject to a minimum purchase, both shown at checkout and configurable by us. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details. You represent that you are authorized to use your payment method and that all information you provide is accurate.

4. The orbit changes

The highest-paying tile occupies the center; all others are packed around it in order of amount paid. When someone pays more than you, the canvas re-sorts and your tile moves outward. This is a core feature, not a defect. We do not guarantee any particular position, visibility, adjacency, permanence, or level of traffic.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the artwork you create or upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, downscale, re-encode, and publicly display your content on and in connection with the Site (including social previews). You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to all content you submit and any link you attach, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law.

6. Acceptable content

Every tile is reviewed before it appears. You may not submit content or links that are illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive or fraudulent (including impersonation, scams, or malware), or that violate the privacy or rights of others. We may reject, remove, or require changes to any tile at our discretion. Tiles removed for violating these Terms are not eligible for a refund.

7. Editing and moderation

You can edit your tile any time by signing back into your account. Edited tiles re-enter moderation and are hidden from the canvas until re-approved. We aim to review promptly but do not guarantee a specific turnaround time.

8. Refunds

If something went wrong with your purchase, such as a double charge, a technical failure, or you change your mind within 14 days of purchase, contact support@launchorbit.co and we’ll make it right. Refunded purchases are removed from the canvas and the leaderboard. Refunds are not available for tiles removed for violating these Terms.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site (in whole or in part) at any time, and may change these Terms or the pricing prospectively. Material changes take effect when posted here. If the Site is discontinued, tiles may cease to be displayed.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for content posted by other users or for third-party sites linked from tiles. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
